Store your files online for free and access them for free! What gives??

Isn't this a Joke? Yes, it is indeed not a joke!!

Feel free to access your bulkiest data from online, upload, download, share.. or just dump there. But, use the online space these guys are providing. For my sake... please! Cos, its free!!!

Just follow me... let's go!

1. World's richest, Microsoft Corporation is providing you an online storage space called Skydrive. Get it to store anything in any format. It is currently offering 1GB of online space. This is all for free! Get your free 1GB here:
Sky Drive

Just need to have a Live Hotmail ID for getting it. That is it. All Hotmail/MSN/Live account users can get this 1GB space for life.

See what you get here:
- Everyone now gets 1 GB of space.
- RSS feeds
– You can subscribe to RSS feeds on public folders. You will receive a notification anytime someone changes the folder.
- Add a contact from the SkyDrive website
– You no longer have to go to Hotmail or Messenger to add contacts to share with. You can now add contacts on the SkyDrive website.
- See who uploaded a file
– On the page that tells you all the details about a file, you can now see who uploaded the file.
- Share with non Live IDs
—In the past, only Live ID contacts would appear in your contact picker.

Now, you can share with any e-mail address. The owner of the non Live ID e-mail address will receive an e-mail with instructions on how to access the shared folder. There are also lots of little features and fixes, check out the SkyDrive Team Blog for more information.

2. Similar to your C or D drive, Xdrive, a service of AOL, is now providing all AOL users (for now only AOL users, in future... all human beings) a mindblowing 5GB online space! For free 5GB, just click on Xdrive!

Xdrive Features:
- Back up your valuable files - your music, photos and more - automatically.
- Conveniently access all your files from anywhere.
- Easily share your files with friends and family.
- Get 5GB for Free!
- If you would wanna pay, they will give you more than 50GB online space!

Recently Xdrive announced a streaming music feature for various PDAs, including the Treo.

Xdrive Music is available to aall Xdrive members and works like this:
- Install a music player on your Treo that supports the streaming of .mp3 (audio) and .m3u (playlist) file types.
- Upload music files to Xdrive, and use Xdrive's features to create a playlist.
- Download your playlist to your local computer and use the palmOne Quick Install software to transfer the playlist file to your phone.
- Locate the playlist on your phone using your music player, and hit play--the music will stream.
There are lots of providers who are providing such online storage spaces. However, the above ones are reliable and good. See my other post about getting 50GB online storage for free! You know, it's for real... :)

I am not sure if someone else is giving you more than this!!! If I find one, I am sure that I will not be here to tell you that! It would have blown me off. See here for all such existing free online storage video grabs:
